Ask who will actually clean your building
The biggest gap in this industry is between the salesperson and the crew. Ask whether the company uses employees or subcontractors, whether the same crew is assigned to your facility every visit, and how long their average cleaner has been with the company. Consistent faces mean consistent results — and they are also a security question if your facility has badge access or sensitive areas.
Ask how problems get fixed
Things go wrong in every account. What matters is the system: Is there a supervisor who inspects the work? Is there a direct line to management, or a ticket queue? Ask for a real example of how a complaint was handled. A company with a good answer has a process; a company with a vague answer has excuses.
Verify the boring stuff
